It’s been said if your looking for something to do, you’ll can find it in Southern California. If you’ve lived here for a while you know what I mean. However, when was the last time you thought, I want to saddle up my pony and head on down to the rodeo, thinking you would still be in the So Cal?. Sure, we are known for our beautiful mountains and beaches, but rodeos and bull riding? Yes sir, right here in the IE’s is Horsetown USA.
For 46 years this little country town celebrates what makes it so very unique and hosts Norco Horse Week. With a seriously impressive lists of events, including a full fledged rodeo Friday night, April 22nd. The weekend starts with a parade at 10am. Just head down to 6th street in Norco and you’ll find it. On Saturday the gates open at 4pm. You’ll have just enough time do a quick tour before the Lawn Mower Races. I might actually put that one in my calendar. All week from April 22nd through May 1st, you’ll find events you won’t see any where else in Southern California. If you find a Horse week that includes barrel racing, a beard contest, chili cook-off and Texas Hold Em Tournament, you need to let us know below. Sunday, May 1st ends Norco Horse Week with a Youth Fun Day at 8am and games begin at 9am.
